Hotel Accommodations
Core BTS has confirmed one king-bedroom suite for you and one guest for three nights at the Excellence El Carmen Resort checking-in Wednesday, April 24 – Saturday, April 27. Core BTS will cover the cost of your room stay over the event dates.

Experience the beauty of the Dominican Republic with this modern and all-inclusive luxury resort. Melding warm hospitality with luxurious accommodations and amenities, Excellence El Carmen will make Punta Cana your favorite home away from home. Twenty-three pools line the property, while stunning architecture surrounds you. Please keep in mind this is an adult-only resort property.
A credit card and photo ID will be required onsite at check-in for incidentals. Core BTS will not cover incidentals charged to your room.
Booking Additional Nights
If you would like to extend your stay before or after the event, please indicate your requested check-in and check-out dates in your registration form no later than March 8.
Room Rate: The rate to extend at the resort is $261.00 (plus taxes and fees) per additional night. This rate applies (3) three days prior and (3) three days post event, subject to availability.
Credit Card: You will be responsible for additional nights. A credit card and photo ID will be required onsite at check-in for incidentals and additional night stay.
Arrivals
It is recommended you arrive at the airport for an international flight three hours prior to your departure, but please visit your local airport website page for specific timing restrictions in your area.
Ground transportation will be provided for you upon arrival into Punta Cana to the resort. Ground transfer will be booked based on your flight. Confirmation will be provided to you prior to the event for your records.
Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM AST. If you arrive prior to 3:00 PM AST, the hotel will do their best to secure early check-ins but cannot be guaranteed.
Core BTS is hosting a casual Welcome Reception onsite at the hotel beginning at 6:00 PM AST. A full detailed itinerary will be provided to you upon check-in.
Departures
Hotel check-out is at 12:00 Noon AST on Saturday, April 27. The hotel will do their best to accommodate any late check-out requests but cannot be guaranteed.
Ground transportation will be provided for you for your departure to the airport from the resort. You will receive a departure time onsite based on your flight time.
Booking Your Air Travel
Core BTS will be covering the cost of round-trip air travel for you and one guest. A dedicated concierge travel team will be assisting you in booking your group travel. It is important you book your travel through this team. Please do not book travel on your own.
The information you provide with your registration form will serve as a guideline for our team to check availability. You will be contacted directly by our travel team within three (3) business days of receipt of your registration form to arrange and finalize you and your guest’s flights.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE: ATTENDEE PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS
Dominican Republic International Travel Information (state.gov)
You will be required to have a valid passport to travel for this event. Please make sure your passport is valid and up to date prior to departure. Passports must be valid for the period of stay in the Dominican Republic with at least one blank page for an entry stamp.
IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE: Once the team has sent you your flight itinerary, it is important you approve your itinerary by replying to yjohnsen@meetprestige.com. Your air reservations will not be ticketed unless the travel team has received your written authorization within the deadline given.
Reservations that require a 24-hour ticketing will be noted on your itinerary. Every attempt will be made to secure airline reservations as close to your preferred request as possible at the time your registration is received, and your itinerary is approved, based on flight availability. E-tickets (electronic tickets) will be issued.
Airfare increases incurred due to travel outside of group dates, specific airline requests, or changes will be your responsibility. Flight itineraries and fares cannot be guaranteed until tickets are issued. Tickets cannot be issued until your email approval has been received, within the deadline given.
In compliance with airline rules, once a ticket is issued, it is non-refundable, and no name changes are allowed. In addition, please note the following:
Any changes/cancellations made to the outbound flight must be made prior to the original departure date for the ticket to be valid (i.e., if you miss your flight and do not contact the airline, your ticket will not have any value for future use).
Additional airline fees will apply for changes confirmed after your ticket has been issued.
Same-day standbys are allowed on most airlines based on availability. A fee may be incurred, and you will also be responsible for any additional airfare.
Seating Preferences
Seating preference will be assigned wherever possible and communicated during your booking.
Luggage Allowance
The majority of airline services now charge fees for each piece of baggage checked. Each attendee is allowed (1) checked bag. Please check with your travel concierge when booking your travel to ensure appropriate airline policies. Charges vary depending on the airline. For carry-on baggage, most airlines allow one piece, not to exceed 40 pounds, plus either a purse, briefcase, laptop, or camera case. All carry-on baggage must either fit under your seat or in the overhead compartment. Any piece of baggage that exceeds size and weight limitations will be subject to additional charges, which will be your responsibility. Carry-on Restrictions
TSA and their security partners conducted extensive explosives testing and determined that liquids, aerosols, and gels, in limited quantities, are safe to bring aboard an aircraft. The one bag limit per traveler limits the total amount each traveler can bring. Consolidating the bottles into one bag and x-raying them separately from the carry-on bag enables security officers to quickly clear the items.
