Toshitaka Oiwa and Hiroyuki Oshida Named CEO and CFO of Core BTS

INDIANAPOLIS (February 19, 2025) — Core BTS, a full-service digital transformation consulting firm, announced today that Toshitaka Oiwa will become Chief Executive Officer, and Hiroyuki Oshida will become Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1.

Toshitaka Oiwa steps into the CEO role after serving as Chairman of Core BTS and President of NRI Holdings America (NRI-HA), Core BTS’ parent company, headquartered in New York. In this role, Toshitaka Oiwa served as a board member for all U.S. subsidiaries, driving M&A activities, business collaborations, and overall growth strategy development and execution. Before relocating to the U.S., Toshitaka Oiwa was based at NRI’s headquarters in Tokyo, where he served as General Manager of Global Strategy, leading more than a dozen acquisitions, including the acquisition of Core BTS in 2021. Prior to joining NRI, he held a global M&A and PMI leadership role at AlixPartners, a U.S.-based consulting firm.

Hiroyuki Oshida, stepping into the Core BTS CFO role, has been with NRI since 2020 in a Global Strategy leadership position. The company’s current CEO, Kevin Thimjon, and CFO, Eric Weber, will be departing to pursue other endeavors. They will remain with Core BTS through mid-March to support the transition.

“Kevin, Eric, and the entire Core BTS team have driven success in providing innovation and competitive advantage to our clients,” said Toshitaka Oiwa, incoming CEO. “I am honored to join the team as CEO and look forward to accelerating our growth in North America.”

Hiroyuki Oshida added, “As CFO, I am excited for the opportunity to build on Core’s strong foundation and support our strategic plans and investments.”
