Walter J. Cook II
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cook is an actively-engaged CEO, who draws on his over 20 years of leadership experience in the technology industry to define Core’s strategic mission and vision. Prior to co-founding Core in 2004, Mr. Cook served in leadership roles at Vytek Wireless Corporation, GE Capital Information Technology Solutions, Inc., and AmeriData Technologies.
Outside of Core, Mr. Cook is a devoted husband and father of two, and enjoys watching his children play soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse. As a family, the Cooks enjoy spending their weekends together skiing and boating.
Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Marist College.
Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Services
As Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Services, Mr. Wilshire leads Core’s internal technology strategy and Core Learning division, as well as oversees all professional services and customer delivery. Through these organizations, Mr. Wilshire is focused on identifying, designing and delivering holistic solutions to customers. Under his leadership, Core has developed a strategic Envision, Execute, Enable approach to accomplish this purpose across all major verticals. This approach, coupled with Mr. Wilshire’s “push for perfection” leadership style, is what creates a rewarding experience for customers.
Mr. Wilshire holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from West Point and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Additionally, he achieved his Executive Education Certificate from Babson College and has held multiple leadership roles across the technology industry.
Vice President, Cloud Solutions
As Vice President of Cloud Solutions, Adam Davis is responsible for driving the Core BTS strategy to expand its cloud business. Adam Davis closely works with the go-to-market sales organization, driving sales enablement and alignment across the commercial and education verticals.
Having served in several capacities since Core’s inception in 2004, Adam has a proven track record of transforming strategic plans into workable solutions while managing performance benchmarks against operational target goals. As Core’s Regional VP of Sales in the Mid-Atlantic territory, Adam was responsible for the region’s rapid growth in customer acquisition and gross profits, seeing a 34% jump since 2014. As Sr. Director of Professional Services, Adam was instrumental in developing Core’s Resource Management and Staff Augmentation offerings and a leading revenue stream for the business.
Adam is a graduate from Berks Technical Institute 1999 with focus on electronics, software and networking. Adam Davis follows and has been influenced by Dale Carnegie.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
As Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Mr. Eickmann oversees Core’s legal and compliance initiatives, in addition to leading the human resources organization. Mr. Eickmann has served as General Counsel for Core Business Technology Solutions, LLC since 2004, and was appointed by the board to the positions of Senior Vice President and Secretary subsequent to Core’s acquisition by Convergence Technologies, Inc., (CTi). Additionally, he has worked in sales and management roles in the technology industry since 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. Mr. Eickmann is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
VP of Strategy & Business Development
As VP of Strategy & Business Development, Dylan focuses on strategic roadmap development to optimize Core’s unique market position and holistic IT services value proposition. In addition, Dylan is responsible for Core’s merger and acquisitions function.
Dylan has previous experience at Strategy&, a PwC strategy consulting firm. As the Director of the Technology, Media, and Telecom Deals Strategy group at Strategy&, Dylan played a critical role in building the team and leading it through numerous transactions valued at over $10 billion.
Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
